Robert Gamgort is an American business executive who is currently serving as the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Keurig Dr Pepper, a leading beverage company in North America. He has held this position since 2018, following the merger of Keurig Green Mountain and Dr Pepper Snapple Group.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Robert Gamgort was born and raised in the United States. He completed his undergraduate studies at Bucknell University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He later pursued his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
Career[edit | edit source]
Prior to his current role at Keurig Dr Pepper, Gamgort served as the CEO of Pinnacle Foods, a packaged foods company, from 2009 to 2016. Before joining Pinnacle Foods, he held various leadership roles at Mars Incorporated, including serving as the President of Mars' North American business.
In addition to his corporate roles, Gamgort has also served on several boards. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Wayfair, an online home goods retailer, and The Hershey Company, a multinational confectionery company.
