Rock Valley is a city located in Sioux County, Iowa, in the United States. It is part of the Sioux City, IA–NE–SD Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city is known for its rich history, vibrant community, and beautiful landscapes.

Rock Valley was incorporated on July 19, 1892. The city was named for the rocky soil of the surrounding valley. Over the years, Rock Valley has grown and developed, maintaining its small-town charm while offering a range of amenities and services to its residents.

Rock Valley is located at 43°12′0″N 96°17′30″W (43.2000, -96.2917). The city has a total area of 3.27 square miles, all of it land.
