Roger Mooking is a Canadian chef, musician, and television host. He is best known for his appearances on the Food Network and Cooking Channel shows, such as Man Fire Food and Everyday Exotic.

Roger Mooking was born in Trinidad and Tobago and moved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, when he was five years old. His love for cooking was influenced by his family, who owned and operated a restaurant in the Caribbean.

Before his culinary career, Mooking was a member of the Juno Award-winning R&B group Bass is Base. The group was known for their unique blend of soul, hip hop, and funk music.

Mooking's culinary career began when he decided to attend George Brown College in Toronto, where he studied culinary arts. After graduation, he worked in several restaurants in Toronto before opening his own, Twist by Roger Mooking.

Mooking's television career began with the show Everyday Exotic, which aired on the Cooking Channel. The show focused on creating everyday meals with an exotic twist. He later hosted Man Fire Food, a show that explores different ways of cooking with fire.
