- Sabana Hoyos is located in the northern part of Puerto Rico, within the municipality of Arecibo. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the north, the barrios of Islote and Arecibo Pueblo to the east, the barrios of Carreras and Río Arriba to the south, and the barrios of Factor and Tanamá to the west.
