Santosh Gangwar
Santosh Gangwar is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He has served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Bareilly constituency in Uttar Pradesh for multiple terms. Gangwar has held various ministerial positions in the Government of India.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Santosh Gangwar was born on 1 November 1948 in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his education at the Agra University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree and later a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
Political Career[edit | edit source]
Santosh Gangwar began his political career with the Bharatiya Janata Party and was first elected to the Lok Sabha in 1989. He has been re-elected multiple times, representing the Bareilly constituency. Over the years, he has held several key positions within the party and the government.
Ministerial Positions[edit | edit source]
Gangwar has served in various capacities in the Government of India. Some of the notable positions he has held include:
- Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas
- Minister of State for Science and Technology
