Sprinkles Cupcakes is a Beverly Hills, California-based cupcake bakery that was established in 2005. It is considered one of the first cupcake bakeries, leading the trend of cupcake boutiques.

Sprinkles Cupcakes was founded by Candace Nelson and her husband Charles. Candace, a former investment banker, attended Tante Marie's professional pastry program in San Francisco, where she was inspired to open her own bakery. Sprinkles Cupcakes opened its first store in Beverly Hills in 2005, and since then, it has opened several locations across the United States.

Sprinkles Cupcakes offers a variety of cupcake flavors, including red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, and lemon. They also offer seasonal and special flavors, such as pumpkin, peppermint, and gingerbread. In addition to cupcakes, Sprinkles also sells cookies, brownies, and ice cream.

Sprinkles Cupcakes is known for its innovative approach to selling cupcakes. In 2012, they introduced the world's first Cupcake ATM, which can hold up to 600 cupcakes and is restocked throughout the day and night. This allows customers to purchase cupcakes at any hour of the day.

Sprinkles Cupcakes has received numerous accolades for its cupcakes. It has been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Network, Food Network, and The Today Show. In 2007, it was named one of the top 10 cupcake places to visit in the country by USA Today.
