Stewart County is a county located in the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2010 census, the population was 6,058. The county seat is Lumpkin. The county was created on December 23, 1830.

Geography[edit | edit source]

Stewart County is located in the southwestern part of Georgia. It is bordered by Webster County to the north, Sumter County to the east, Randolph County to the northeast, Quitman County to the south, and Barbour County, Alabama to the west.

As of the 2010 United States Census, there were 6,058 people, 2,315 households, and 1,525 families residing in the county.
