Sullivan County is a county located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. As of the 2020 census, the population was 5,840, making it the second-least populous county in Pennsylvania. The county seat is Laporte. The county was created on March 15, 1847, from part of Lycoming County and named for Charles C. Sullivan, who was a leader in the Pennsylvania Senate at the time.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 452 square miles (1,170 km²), of which 450 square miles (1,200 km²) is land and 2.1 square miles (5.4 km²) (0.5%) is water. The county is largely rural and known for its scenic beauty, including parts of the Endless Mountains and numerous state parks and forests.

As of the 2020 census, there were 5,840 people, 2,660 households, and 1,720 families residing in the county. The population density was 13 people per square mile (5/km²). The racial makeup of the county was predominantly White, with small percentages of other races.

Sullivan County is governed by a board of three county commissioners. The county is part of Pennsylvania's 12th congressional district.
