Teany is a popular tea and vegan food cafe located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York City. It was co-founded by musician Moby and his ex-girlfriend Kelly Tisdale in 2002. The name "Teany" is a portmanteau of 'tea' and 'tiny', reflecting the cafe's small size and focus on tea.

Teany officially opened its doors in May 2002. The cafe quickly gained popularity due to its extensive tea menu, offering over 98 different types of tea, and its vegan and vegetarian food options.
