The Incredibles is a media franchise created by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. The franchise began with the release of the animated film The Incredibles in 2004, which was written and directed by Brad Bird. The series follows the adventures of the Parr family, a family of superheroes who are forced to hide their powers and live a quiet suburban life. The franchise includes films, video games, comic books, and other merchandise.

The Incredibles (2004)[edit | edit source]

The Incredibles is the first film in the franchise. It introduces the Parr family: Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible), Helen Parr (Elastigirl), and their children Violet Parr, Dash Parr, and Jack-Jack Parr. The film follows the family as they come out of retirement to fight a new villain, Syndrome.

Incredibles 2 (2018)[edit | edit source]

Incredibles 2 is the sequel to the original film. It picks up immediately where the first film left off, with the Parr family facing a new threat from the villain Screenslaver. The film focuses on Helen Parr's efforts to restore the public's trust in superheroes while Bob Parr stays at home to take care of the children.
