Tixocortol


Tixocortol is a type of corticosteroid, specifically a glucocorticoid, used in the treatment of various inflammatory and allergic conditions. It is also known as Tixocortol Pivalate and is marketed under various brand names worldwide.

Tixocortol works by mimicking the effects of hormones your body naturally produces in your adrenal glands. When prescribed in doses that exceed your body's usual levels, corticosteroids suppress inflammation. This can reduce the signs and symptoms of inflammatory conditions, such as arthritis and asthma.
