Tom Angus (born 1945) is a British entomologist known for his extensive work in the field of coleopterology, the study of beetles. He has made significant contributions to the understanding of beetle taxonomy and ecology.

Tom Angus was born in 1945 in London, England. From an early age, he showed a keen interest in natural history, particularly in insects. He pursued his undergraduate studies in biology at the University of Oxford, where he developed a fascination with entomology. He later completed his PhD at the University of Cambridge, focusing on the systematics of beetles.
