Tra Vinh University (TVU) is a public university located in Tra Vinh Province, Vietnam. It was established in 2006 and has since become a significant educational institution in the region, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Tra Vinh University was founded on the basis of the Tra Vinh Community College, which was established in 2001. The university was officially upgraded to a university in 2006, following a decision by the Prime Minister of Vietnam.
