Trang Bang
Trang Bang is a district-level town of Tay Ninh Province in the Southeast region of Vietnam. As of 2018, the town had a population of 41,474. The district covers an area of 110.7 square kilometers. The district capital lies at Trang Bang.

Trang Bang has a rich history that dates back to the Vietnam War. It was the site of the Battle of Trang Bang, a major confrontation between the Vietnam People's Army and the Army of the Republic of Vietnam.
Geography[edit | edit source]
Trang Bang is located in the Southeast region of Vietnam. It is surrounded by the following districts: Go Dau to the east, Cu Chi to the south, and Hoc Mon to the west.
Economy[edit | edit source]
The economy of Trang Bang is diverse, with agriculture, industry, and services all playing significant roles. The district is known for its production of rice, rubber, and cashew nuts. It is also home to several industrial parks.
Culture[edit | edit source]
Trang Bang is famous for its Trang Bang dew-wetted rice paper, a traditional Vietnamese food product that is recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage. The town also hosts an annual festival, the Trang Bang Rice Paper Festival, to celebrate this unique cultural product.
Infrastructure[edit | edit source]
Trang Bang is well-connected with other parts of the country through a network of national highways and provincial roads. The district is served by the Tan Son Nhat International Airport, which is located approximately 40 kilometers away in Ho Chi Minh City.

There are several educational institutions in Trang Bang, including Trang Bang High School and Trang Bang Primary School. The district is also home to the Trang Bang Vocational Training Center, which provides vocational training to local residents.
