Trolli is a brand that specializes in the production of gummy candy. The brand is owned by Trolli GmbH, a company that was originally established in Germany in 1948 by Willy Mederer. Today, Trolli products are sold worldwide, with a particularly strong presence in the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Trolli GmbH was founded in 1948 by Willy Mederer. The company initially focused on the production of fruit gums, marshmallows, and soft licorice gums. In 1975, Trolli introduced the first gummy worms, which have since become a staple of the brand.

In 1981, the Mederer Group was established, which included Trolli GmbH, as well as other candy brands. The group expanded internationally, establishing production facilities in Spain, the United States, and China.

Trolli's product range primarily consists of gummy candies. The brand is best known for its gummy worms, which were the first of their kind when they were introduced in 1975. Other popular products include gummy bears, gummy rings, and sour gummies.
