The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is a public university located in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. It was established in 1974 as Fraser Valley College and gained university status in 2008. UFV offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, including bachelor's, master's, and diploma programs.

The institution was founded in 1974 as Fraser Valley College, serving the educational needs of the Fraser Valley region. In 1991, it became the University College of the Fraser Valley (UCFV) and expanded its program offerings. In 2008, it was granted full university status and adopted its current name, the University of the Fraser Valley.
