University of the Fraser Valley
University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) is a public university located in British Columbia, Canada. It is recognized for its wide range of programs including arts, sciences, professional studies, and continuing education. With campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, and Hope, UFV serves a diverse student population and is committed to excellence in higher education, community engagement, and Indigenous reconciliation.

The University of the Fraser Valley was established in 1974 as Fraser Valley College. It was created in response to the growing need for higher education facilities in the Fraser Valley region. In 1988, it became a university college with the authority to grant baccalaureate degrees, and in 2008, it gained full university status, becoming the University of the Fraser Valley.

UFV operates several campuses and locations:
- Abbotsford Campus: The main campus, housing a majority of the academic programs and administrative services.
- Chilliwack Campus: Located at the Canada Education Park, it focuses on health sciences and agricultural programs.
- Mission Campus: Offers adult education and continuing studies.
- Hope Centre: Provides access to university courses for residents of Hope and surrounding areas.
