War Machine (born Jonathan Paul Koppenhaver on November 30, 1981) is an American former mixed martial artist who competed in the welterweight division. He is known for his time in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Bellator MMA.

War Machine was born in Simi Valley, California. He had a troubled childhood and faced numerous challenges growing up. He eventually found solace in martial arts, which led him to pursue a career in mixed martial arts.
