World Obesity Rates 2009 - 2013

The following table lists the countries with the percentage of the population with a Body Mass Index of over 25 considered to be overweight that also includes those that are considered obese. While most people oversimplify the issue of weight gain, did we really miss the bus on understanding the true causes of weight gain such as insulin resistance?
