5-MeO-EPT is a psychedelic and entheogenic drug. It is a member of the tryptamine class of compounds and is structurally related to other tryptamines such as 5-MeO-DMT and 5-MeO-MiPT.

5-MeO-EPT is a tryptamine derivative and is structurally similar to other tryptamines. The chemical name for 5-MeO-EPT is 5-methoxy-N-ethyl-N-propyltryptamine. The compound has a methoxy group at the 5 position of the indole ring, and is N-substituted with an ethyl and propyl group.
