5-MeO-EiPT
5-MeO-EiPT is a psychedelic and entactogen drug of the tryptamine class. It is structurally related to tryptamines like 5-MeO-DiPT and EiPT, and has been sold online as a designer drug.
Chemistry[edit | edit source]
5-MeO-EiPT, or 5-methoxy-N-ethyl-N-isopropyltryptamine, is a synthetic tryptamine. It is made up of a indole ring, attached to an amino (NH2) group via an ethyl side chain. It also has a methoxy (OCH3) group attached at the 5 position of the indole ring, and isopropyl and ethyl groups attached to the amino group.
Pharmacology[edit | edit source]
The pharmacology of 5-MeO-EiPT is not well studied. However, like other tryptamines, it is thought to act as an agonist at the 5-HT2A receptor, which is involved in the effects of many psychedelic drugs. It may also have activity at other serotonin receptors.

The effects of 5-MeO-EiPT can vary widely, depending on the dose and individual. They can include hallucinations, altered perception of time, enhanced tactile sensations, and emotional euphoria. Some users also report negative effects such as nausea, anxiety, and uncomfortable body sensations.
