ADB-4en-PINACA is a synthetic cannabinoid that has been identified in illicit products sold as herbal incense or synthetic cannabis. It is a potent agonist of the CB1 receptor and CB2 receptor. The compound was first identified in Japan in 2013.

ADB-4en-PINACA is a member of the aminoalkylindole class of synthetic cannabinoids. It is structurally related to other synthetic cannabinoids such as ADB-PINACA and 5F-ADB. The compound has a 4-enone moiety in its structure, which is uncommon among synthetic cannabinoids.

Pharmacology[edit | edit source]

ADB-4en-PINACA is a potent agonist of the CB1 and CB2 receptors. The CB1 receptor is primarily located in the brain and is responsible for the psychoactive effects of cannabis. The CB2 receptor is primarily found in the immune system and is involved in immune response and inflammation.

Legal status[edit | edit source]

ADB-4en-PINACA is a controlled substance in several countries, including Japan, the United States, and the European Union. In the United States, it is classified as a Schedule I drug under the Controlled Substances Act.
