Advocate Aurora Health

Advocate Aurora Health is a not-for-profit health care organization based in the United States. It was formed in 2018 through a merger between Advocate Health Care and Aurora Health Care. The organization operates hospitals, clinics, and home care services in Illinois and Wisconsin, making it one of the largest health systems in the Midwest.

Advocate Health Care, based in Illinois, and Aurora Health Care, based in Wisconsin, announced their intention to merge in December 2017. The merger was completed in April 2018, creating one of the 10 largest not-for-profit, integrated health care systems in the United States. The newly formed organization was named Advocate Aurora Health.

Advocate Aurora Health operates 27 hospitals, more than 500 outpatient locations, and a variety of home health services. The organization provides a wide range of health care services, including primary care, specialty care, hospital care, emergency care, urgent care, rehabilitation, and home health care. It also offers telehealth services, allowing patients to consult with healthcare professionals remotely.
