All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh (AIIMS Rishikesh) is one of the apex healthcare institutes established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). Located in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India, it aims to provide state-of-the-art medical education, patient care, and research. AIIMS Rishikesh was officially inaugurated in 2012 as a part of the efforts to set up AIIMS institutions across India to model the original All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
