Anhui Province (Chinese: 安徽省; pinyin: Ānhuī Shěng ) is a landlocked province of the People's Republic of China, located in the eastern region of the country. It is bordered by Jiangsu to the east, Zhejiang to the southeast, Jiangxi to the south, Hubei to the southwest, Henan to the northwest, and Shandong to the north. The capital and largest city of Anhui is Hefei.

Anhui Province was established in the 17th century during the Qing dynasty. The name "Anhui" derives from the names of two cities: Anqing and Huizhou. Historically, the region has been a significant cultural and economic center, with a rich heritage in Chinese calligraphy, painting, and architecture.

Anhui is characterized by a diverse landscape that includes the Yangtze River and the Huai River, as well as the Dabie Mountains and the Huangshan Mountains.
