Arthur Li
Arthur Li (李國章) is a prominent Hong Kong academic, physician, and politician. He is known for his significant contributions to the field of medicine and his influential role in Hong Kong politics.

Arthur Li was born in Hong Kong into a prominent family. He is the son of Li Fook Shu, a well-known businessman, and the brother of David Li, a banker and politician. Arthur Li attended St. Paul's Co-educational College and later pursued higher education at the University of Cambridge, where he earned his medical degree.

Arthur Li began his medical career as a surgeon. He specialized in surgery and became a respected figure in the medical community. He held various academic positions, including the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Under his leadership, the faculty expanded its research capabilities and improved its international standing.

In 1996, Arthur Li was appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
