The Australia national cricket team represents Australia in international cricket. The team is administered by Cricket Australia and is a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test, One Day International (ODI), and Twenty20 International (T20I) status. Australia is the joint oldest team in Test cricket history, having played in the first-ever Test match in 1877. The team also played in the first ODI in 1971 and the first T20I in 2005.

The Australia national cricket team played its first Test match in 1877 against England, which marked the beginning of the Ashes series, one of the most celebrated rivalries in cricket. Australia has been highly successful in international cricket, winning the Cricket World Cup a record five times (1987, 1999, 2003, 2007, and 2015) and the ICC Champions Trophy twice (2006 and 2009). The team has also won the ICC T20 World Cup once, in 2021.
