Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital is a hospital located in Bangkok, Thailand. It is a part of the Royal Thai Air Force Medical Department and is named after the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital was established on 5 December 1958. It was originally a small clinic serving the Royal Thai Air Force personnel and their families. Over the years, it has grown into a large, modern hospital with a capacity of over 1,000 beds.

The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and offers a wide range of medical services. It has various departments such as Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Radiology. The hospital also has specialized centers for Cardiology, Neurology, and Orthopedics.

Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital is also a center for medical research and education. It is affiliated with the Royal Thai Air Force Medical School and offers training programs for medical students and residents.

Notable Patients[edit | edit source]

The late King Bhumibol Adulyadej was a patient at this hospital. He was admitted in October 2014 and remained there until his death in October 2016.
