Boston University Medical Campus (BUMC) is a premier educational institution located in the South End neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It is a part of the larger Boston University system and is dedicated to providing high-quality medical education, research, and patient care.

The Boston University Medical Campus was established in 1848 as the New England Female Medical College, and it became a part of Boston University in 1873. The campus has a rich history of pioneering medical education, including being the first institution in the world to educate women in medicine and the first in the United States to award an M.D. to an African-American woman, Rebecca Lee Crumpler.
