Cytomegalovirus (CMV) retinitis

An eye disease caused by the CMV virus, common among persons who are living with HIV. Without treatment, persons with CMV retinitis can lose their vision. CMV infection can affect both eyes and is the most common cause of blindness among persons with AIDS. See Cytomegalovirus (CMV).
