Charles Cameron (physician)
Charles Cameron (1830–1921) was a prominent Scottish physician, sanitarian, and politician. He is best known for his contributions to public health and his role in the House of Commons.

Charles Cameron was born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1830. He pursued his medical education at the University of Glasgow, where he earned his MD degree. Cameron furthered his studies in Paris and Vienna, gaining extensive knowledge in the field of medicine.

Cameron began his medical practice in Glasgow, where he quickly became known for his dedication to improving public health.
