Copperbelt University (CBU) is a public university located in Kitwe, Zambia. It is one of the largest and oldest tertiary institutions in the country, established in 1987. The university was founded with the intent to provide advanced education and training in various fields, with a particular focus on the needs of the Copperbelt region, which is known for its significant contribution to Zambia's mining industry.
