Dani Naveh

Dan Naveh (born June 21, 1960) is an Israeli politician and former member of the Knesset for the Likud party. He has held various ministerial positions in the Israeli government, including Minister of Health and Minister without Portfolio.

Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]

Dan Naveh was born in Jerusalem, Israel. He completed his military service in the Israel Defense Forces and later pursued higher education. Naveh holds a degree in law from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Political Career[edit | edit source]

Naveh began his political career as an advisor to Yitzhak Shamir, the then Prime Minister of Israel. He was first elected to the Knesset in 1999 as a member of the Likud party. During his tenure in the Knesset, Naveh served on various committees and was involved in numerous legislative activities.

Minister of Health[edit | edit source]

Dan Naveh served as the Minister of Health from 2003 to 2006. During his term, he focused on improving the healthcare system in Israel, addressing issues such as hospital overcrowding and the availability of medical services.

Minister without Portfolio[edit | edit source]

Before his role as Minister of Health, Naveh was appointed as a Minister without Portfolio in 2001. In this capacity, he was responsible for various special projects and initiatives within the government.

Post-Political Career[edit | edit source]

After leaving politics, Dan Naveh transitioned to the private sector. He has held executive positions in several companies and has been involved in various business ventures.

Dan Naveh is married and has three children. He resides in Tel Aviv.
