David Lee Gallagher (born February 9, 1985) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Simon Camden on the long-running television series 7th Heaven. Gallagher has also appeared in various films and television series throughout his career.

David Gallagher was born in College Point, Queens, New York City, New York. He is of Irish and Cuban descent. Gallagher began his acting career at the age of two, appearing in commercials.

Television[edit | edit source]
Gallagher's breakthrough role came in 1996 when he was cast as Simon Camden in the family drama series 7th Heaven. The show, which aired on The WB and later The CW, became the longest-running family drama in television history, and Gallagher remained a series regular until 2006.
In addition to 7th Heaven, Gallagher has made guest appearances on several other television shows, including CSI: Miami, Numb3rs, and Without a Trace. He also had a recurring role on the series The Vampire Diaries.

Gallagher's film credits include roles in Look Who's Talking Now (1993), Angels in the Endzone (1997), and Richie Rich's Christmas Wish (1998). He also starred in the 2001 film Little Secrets and the 2005 horror film Boogeyman.

In addition to his on-screen work, Gallagher has provided voice work for several animated projects. He is known for voicing the character of Riku in the Kingdom Hearts video game series.
