Dick Dees
Dick Dees (born 13 December 1944) is a Dutch politician and former general practitioner. He is a member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD). Dees served as a member of the House of Representatives and the Senate in the Netherlands.

Dick Dees was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He studied medicine at the University of Amsterdam, where he graduated as a general practitioner.

Before entering politics, Dees worked as a general practitioner. His medical background influenced his later political career, particularly in the areas of healthcare and public health policy.
Political Career[edit | edit source]
Dees joined the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and was elected to the House of Representatives in 1981. He served in the House until 1989. During his tenure, he focused on healthcare, social affairs, and public health.
In 1991, Dees was elected to the Senate, where he continued to advocate for healthcare reforms and policies. He served in the Senate until 2003.
