The Dirgheshwari Temple is a prominent Hindu temple located in the city of Guwahati, in the Kamrup Metropolitan district of the state of Assam, India. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Durga, one of the principal deities in Hinduism.

The Dirgheshwari Temple is considered one of the oldest temples in Assam. It is believed to have been established during the reign of the Ahom dynasty, which ruled Assam for nearly 600 years. The temple has been a significant site for Hindu pilgrimage and is associated with various legends and myths.

The temple is an excellent example of Nagara architecture, which is characterized by its beehive-shaped tower called a shikhara. The temple complex includes several smaller shrines and is adorned with intricate carvings and sculptures depicting various Hindu deities and mythological scenes.
