Disney XD

Disney XD is an American cable and satellite television channel that is owned by the Walt Disney Company through its Disney Branded Television unit. The channel is aimed primarily at children aged 6–15, with a focus on boys aged 6–11. Disney XD primarily broadcasts animated television series and live-action programming.

History

Disney XD was launched on February 13, 2009, replacing the Toon Disney and Jetix channels.
