Dolobid

Dolobid is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is used to treat pain or inflammation caused by arthritis. The generic name for Dolobid is Diflunisal.

Uses[edit | edit source]

Dolobid is used to relieve pain, swelling, and joint stiffness caused by arthritis. This medication is known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking your body's production of certain natural substances that cause inflammation.

Side Effects[edit | edit source]

Some common side effects of Dolobid include upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, gas, dizziness, or drowsiness. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Precautions[edit | edit source]

Before taking Dolobid, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to aspirin or other NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen, naproxen, celecoxib); or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems.

Missed Dose[edit | edit source]

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Take your next dose at the regular time.

Storage[edit | edit source]

Store at room temperature away from light and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medications away from children and pets.
