Drägerwerk is a German company specializing in the fields of medical technology and safety technology. Founded in Lübeck in 1889, Drägerwerk has grown into a worldwide enterprise, with more than 14,000 employees across the globe.

Drägerwerk was established by Johann Heinrich Dräger and his son, Carl Dräger. The company initially focused on the production of breathing apparatus for firefighters and miners, which was a revolutionary invention at the time. Over the years, Drägerwerk expanded its product range to include a variety of safety and medical equipment.
