Durward Hall

Durward G. Hall (September 14, 1910 – March 15, 2001) was an American physician and politician who served as a U.S. Representative from Missouri. He was a member of the Republican Party.

Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]

Durward Gorham Hall was born in Brookline, Massachusetts. He attended Dartmouth College, where he earned his undergraduate degree. He then went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Medical Career[edit | edit source]

After completing his education, Hall practiced medicine in Springfield, Missouri. He was known for his contributions to the medical community and was actively involved in various medical organizations.

Political Career[edit | edit source]

Hall entered politics as a member of the Republican Party. He was elected to the United States House of Representatives in 1960, representing Missouri's 7th congressional district. He served in Congress from January 3, 1961, to January 3, 1973. During his tenure, Hall was known for his work on health-related legislation and his advocacy for medical research.

Later Life and Death[edit | edit source]

After retiring from politics, Hall returned to his medical practice in Springfield, Missouri. He continued to be active in the medical community until his death on March 15, 2001.
