(FT) courses, they should have passed or appeared for the final year of intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto with any two/three of the subjects indicated against each course noted below:

 * B.Sc. (Ag.): Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, Agriculture, Vocational Course in Agriculture.
 * B.Sc. (Hort): Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, Agriculture, Vocational Course in Agriculture.
 * B.V.Sc. & A.H.: Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences.
 * B.F.Sc.: Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, Vocational Course in Fishery Sciences.
 * B.Tech. (Food Technology (FT)): Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences.

Examination Pattern

The EAMCET examination is divided into two parts: Engineering and Agriculture & Medical. The Engineering examination is of 3 hours duration and consists of 160 questions (80 Mathematics, 40 Physics, and 40 Chemistry) based on a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. The Agriculture and Medical examination also lasts for 3 hours and includes 160 questions (80 Biology, 40 Physics, and 40 Chemistry).
