Eyal Shani

Eyal Shani is an internationally renowned chef and television personality from Israel. He is best known for his unique approach to Middle Eastern cuisine, and his popular restaurant chain, Miznon.

Early Life and Career[edit | edit source]

Eyal Shani was born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel. He developed a passion for cooking at a young age, and pursued this interest by studying at the prestigious Tadmor Culinary Institute in Herzliya. After graduating, Shani worked in several high-end restaurants in Israel, honing his skills and developing his signature style.

In 1989, Shani opened his first restaurant, Oceanus, in Jerusalem. The restaurant quickly gained a reputation for its innovative dishes and high-quality ingredients. This success led to Shani opening several more restaurants in Israel, including North Abraxas and Port Said.

Miznon[edit | edit source]

In 2011, Shani opened the first Miznon restaurant in Tel Aviv. The restaurant, which specializes in gourmet pita sandwiches, quickly became a hit with locals and tourists alike. Since then, Shani has opened Miznon locations in cities around the world, including Paris, Vienna, Melbourne, and New York City.

In addition to his work as a chef, Shani has also made a name for himself as a television personality. He has appeared on several Israeli cooking shows, including MasterChef Israel, where he serves as a judge. Shani's charismatic personality and culinary expertise have made him a popular figure on Israeli television.

Shani is married and has two children. He currently resides in Tel Aviv, where he continues to oversee his restaurant empire and work on new culinary projects.
