F. DuBois Bowman
F. DuBois Bowman is a prominent biostatistician and public health expert known for his contributions to the field of neuroimaging and mental health research. He is currently the Dean of the University of Michigan School of Public Health.

F. DuBois Bowman was born in South Carolina. He earned his B.S. in mathematics from Morehouse College. He then pursued a M.S. in biostatistics from the University of Michigan and later completed his Ph.D. in biostatistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Bowman began his academic career as a faculty member at Columbia University, where he made significant contributions to the field of neuroimaging and mental health research. He later joined the faculty at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, where he served as the Chair of the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics.
In 2018, Bowman was appointed as the Dean of the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Under his leadership, the school has focused on addressing critical public health issues, including health disparities, environmental health, and chronic diseases.
