Fawad Afzal Khan (born 29 November 1981) is a Pakistani actor, singer, and model. He has established himself as one of the leading actors in the Pakistani entertainment industry and has also gained significant recognition in Bollywood.

Early life[edit | edit source]

Fawad Khan was born in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. He spent his early childhood in various countries, including Greece, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom, before returning to Pakistan. He completed his A-Levels from Lahore Grammar School and later graduated with a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES), Lahore.

Fawad Khan began his career in the entertainment industry as the lead vocalist of the alternative rock band Entity Paradigm. The band gained popularity with their debut album Irtiqa and their participation in the Pepsi Battle of the Bands.

Acting[edit | edit source]

Fawad Khan made his acting debut with the television serial Jutt and Bond in 2001. He gained widespread recognition for his role in the critically acclaimed drama Humsafar (2011), where he starred opposite Mahira Khan. His performance in Zindagi Gulzar Hai (2012) further solidified his status as a leading actor in Pakistan.

In 2014, Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut with the film Khoobsurat, opposite Sonam Kapoor. He received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his performance. He went on to star in other successful Bollywood films, including Kapoor & Sons (2016) and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016).
