Federal University of Piauí
Federal University of Piauí (UFPI) is a public university located in the state of Piauí, Brazil. It is one of the main centers for higher education and research in the Northeast region of the country. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various fields of study, including Medicine, Engineering, Humanities, and Natural Sciences, among others.

The Federal University of Piauí was established in 1968, following the integration of several higher education institutions in the state of Piauí. The aim was to create a comprehensive university that could provide quality education and contribute to the development of the state and the region. Since its inception, UFPI has played a pivotal role in the educational, cultural, and scientific advancement of Piauí.

UFPI has multiple campuses spread across the state, with the main campus located in the capital city, Teresina. Other significant campuses include Parnaíba, Picos, Floriano, and Bom Jesus.
