Feldene

Feldene is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is used to treat pain or inflammation caused by osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. Feldene works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.

Uses[edit | edit source]

Feldene is used to relieve pain, swelling, and joint stiffness caused by arthritis. By reducing these symptoms, it helps you do more of your normal daily activities. This medication is known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).

Side Effects[edit | edit source]

Some common side effects of Feldene include upset stomach, nausea, dizziness, or drowsiness. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

Precautions[edit | edit source]

Before taking Feldene, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to aspirin or other NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen, naproxen, celecoxib); or if you have any other allergies.

Overdose[edit | edit source]

If someone has overdosed and has serious symptoms such as passing out or trouble breathing, call 911. Otherwise, call a poison control center right away.

Missed Dose[edit | edit source]

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Take your next dose at the regular time.

Storage[edit | edit source]

Store at room temperature away from light and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medications away from children and pets.
