George Ian Scott
George Ian Scott (born 1950) is a renowned British physician and researcher known for his contributions to the field of cardiology. George Ian Scott was born in London, England in 1950. He attended University College London (UCL) where he earned his MBBS degree. He later completed his MD and specialized in cardiology.

Scott began his medical career at St Bartholomew's Hospital in London, where he completed his residency in internal medicine. He then pursued a fellowship in cardiology at the Royal Brompton Hospital. His early research focused on the mechanisms of myocardial infarction and the development of new therapeutic strategies.
In the 1980s, Scott joined the faculty at Imperial College London, where he became a leading figure in the field of cardiovascular research. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles and has been a keynote speaker at numerous international conferences.
