Gynecologic Oncology is a peer-reviewed medical journal that focuses on the study and treatment of gynecologic cancers. The journal was established in 1972 and is published by Elsevier. The editor-in-chief is Beth Y. Karlan.

Gynecologic Oncology is a monthly publication that provides a forum for the publication of scientific research related to gynecologic malignancies. The journal includes original contributions and select reviews on topics related to the etiology, diagnosis, treatment, and survival of patients with these cancers.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: Ovarian, Cervical, Endometrial, Vulvar, and Vaginal cancers. It also covers research on prevention, epidemiology, surgical and radiation treatments, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, pathology, and molecular biology related to these cancers.

The journal is abstracted and indexed in PubMed, MEDLINE, Scopus, and the Science Citation Index. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2019 impact factor of 4.623.
