HDMP-28
HDMP-28 or methylnaphthidate is a piperidine based stimulant drug, which is closely related chemically to methylphenidate, but with the benzene ring replaced by naphthalene.
Pharmacology[edit | edit source]
HDMP-28 is a dopamine transporter (DAT) inhibitor but its research does not discriminate regarding the norepinephrine transporter (NET). Being the 3,4-dichloro structural analog of sertraline, a type of Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), it is also a serotonin transporter (SERT) inhibitor.
Legality[edit | edit source]
HDMP-28 and ethylnaphthidate have been banned in the UK since the 18th of June 2013, following a change in the law brought about by the open sale of ethylnaphthidate and other similar drugs.
