- Hatillo is a city located on the northern coast of Puerto Rico. It is part of the San Juan-Caguas-Guaynabo Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city is known for its dairy production and its annual Mask Festival.

- Hatillo was founded in 1823 by Agustín Ruiz Miranda, a Spanish immigrant who made his fortune in the sugar industry. The city's name is derived from a small herd of cattle owned by Miranda, which were known as "hatillos".
Geography[edit | edit source]
- Hatillo is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the north, the city of Camuy to the west, the city of Lares to the south, and the city of Arecibo to the east. The city's terrain is mostly flat, with some hills in the southern part of the city.
