Hoover Tower is a 285-foot (87 m) structure on the campus of Stanford University in Stanford, California. The tower is part of the Hoover Institution, a public policy think tank and research institution founded by Herbert Hoover, the 31st President of the United States and a Stanford alumnus.

Hoover Tower was completed in 1941 to celebrate the university's 50th anniversary. The tower was designed by architect Arthur Brown Jr., who also designed the San Francisco City Hall. The structure was inspired by the bell towers of the cathedrals in Spain and Italy.

The tower houses the Hoover Institution Library and Archives, which contains a vast collection of documents and materials related to war, revolution, and peace. The observation deck on the 14th floor offers panoramic views of the Stanford University campus and the surrounding Bay Area.
